What the company shared

This is to inform that BCCL has received a certificate proceeding bearing Certificate Case No. 01/2026-27 initiated by the Certificate Officer/Addition Collector, Dhanbad, under the provisions of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914, in respect of an alleged outstanding amount of Rs. 38,16,83,32,765.16 claimed to be recoverable on behalf of the Government of Jharkhand. The company is presently in the process of obtaining further information and examining the matter, including the basis and details of the amount claimed. The company shall take appropriate legal steps in the matter accordingly. Further developments, as and when material, will be disclosed to the Stock Exchanges in accordance with the applicable provisions of the SEBI LODR Regulations.
